Neaptide is a digital marketing studio. Most of our work is SEO, visibility in AI answers and advertising, and when a project needs a website or an AI tool, we build that too. Our approach borrows from wu wei, the Taoist idea that action becomes natural after long practice and deliberate effort. You can work calmly once you have the experience and understand the task.

Most of what we do is online marketing. We also take on websites and AI projects, either alongside the marketing or as separate jobs.
We help businesses get found in search and in AI answers. SEO brings people to your website from Google and Yandex. GEO/AEO deals with AI assistants: someone reads about your company in an answer and follows the link to your content. Content and advertising come in where they are needed. You see the results in rankings, citations, visits and enquiries.

A template builder will give you a site in two weeks, and it will look like hundreds of others. A Neaptide project takes 4–8 weeks, and the site is designed around your task.
Feedback on marketing projects led by Dmitry Filippov and his team under the Edge Promo name.
The team joined our organising crew pro bono and helped promote the campaign. They grew our VK communities from 15,000 to 120,000 members in 3–5 months, ran nationwide targeted ads, advertised on YouTube and Facebook, and rebuilt and optimised the site for Yandex and Google. Without Dmitry Filippov and his team we would never have reached these numbers: 228,000 volunteers, 300 cities across 67 regions, 5,600 cleanups.
Karina IvchenkoCoordinator, World Cleanup Day in Russia, 2018I've worked with Dmitry since we launched the site back in 2015. We reached the first page of search — the very top — fairly quickly. The pricing worked for me, I got regular reports, and they taught me to use Yandex.Metrica. Several years on, I'm still on the first page — now without spending a thing. I'm very happy with the result.

We set out how we would tackle the task and in what order, and tell you what we will need from you.

We stay in touch after launch, maintaining the project and developing it further.
What draws us to wu wei is its paradox: you arrive at non-action by acting. For a long time you learn and get things wrong, and every step takes strain and close attention. Then, at some point, the same work starts to come by itself. From the outside it looks like ease, though there are years of practice behind it.
Every project starts with the client's business: how their customers choose, where they look for information, what finally makes them get in touch. The plan grows out of the answers, whether it is for marketing, a website or an AI project. Once the task is clear, a good deal of work turns out to be unnecessary. We make the changes that are needed and give them time to take effect.
“The highest skill looks like simplicity. The highest speech sounds like silence. The highest work feels effortless.”

“The highest good is like water: it benefits all things and contends with none, dwelling in the lowly places others disdain — and so it is close to the Tao.”
— Lao Tzu, Tao Te Ching, ch. 8
My name is Dmitry Filippov, and I have worked in search optimisation since 2007. In 2009 a partner and I set up an IT consulting company, where I ran the digital marketing side. That side grew into a company of its own, Edge Promo, which I led. Since then my team and I have run a great many marketing projects, for businesses and for non-profit organisations. In 2026 I renamed the company Neaptide. We took the opportunity to rethink our services and technology, and built our way of working on wu wei.
I came to this philosophy by watching how work actually goes: strong projects get made without fuss. So the habit in the studio is to start from the task and not to push anything on the client.
Search marketing outgrew Google some time ago. Besides traditional SEO, we do GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) in-house; you may also see it called AEO or LLM SEO. It means preparing websites and content for AI answers. The aim is for ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews to find a brand, mention it and link to it as a source.

Neaptide is a digital marketing studio: SEO, GEO/AEO, content and advertising. Beyond marketing, we build websites and help companies put AI to work.
We have been in business since 2009. We began as the digital marketing arm of an IT consulting company, and that arm later became a company in its own right, Edge Promo. In 2026 it was renamed Neaptide, and we used the occasion to update our methods, technology and services. Today the studio markets businesses, builds websites and implements AI.

For marketing we rely on search and web analytics tools, Google Analytics 4 and Yandex Metrica among them. In SEO we watch rankings, visits and enquiries. In GEO/AEO we watch mentions and links in answers from ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews. Websites are written in Next.js, React and TypeScript, with Three.js and WebGL where interactive graphics are called for. For AI projects we use Claude, GPT and Gemini and connect the models to a company's data and business systems. The exact set depends on the task, the budget and how the result will be maintained.
The homepage shows four SEO case studies from our archive, a GEO case study of one of our own projects and three live websites: Sunny Turkey, Dao of Tea and DinoLand. The figures in the SEO cases come from project reports, and the GEO case quotes recorded AI answers. The websites are open for anyone to visit. All search marketing case studies
For us, wu wei is the idea that you arrive at non-action by acting. The more practice you have and the better you know your craft, the less strain there is in the work. In the studio it comes down to this: we get to the bottom of the task, do what is necessary and don't rush changes that need time.
GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) and AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) mean preparing a website to be cited in AI answers from services such as ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews. Traditional SEO competes for positions in search results. GEO/AEO has a different goal: the model should name your site as the source of its answer. We do both.
Neaptide works remotely, with clients all over the world. Our main markets are the United States and Europe. You can talk to us in any of the six languages of this site, and we arrange calls to suit your time zone. Write to hello@neaptide.ai.
